What type of merchants can we discover on StreetBy?

Are you looking for an activity, a professional service, a good place to relax, or simply looking for a take-out stall? Search for it on StreetBy. How do I know if my order is confirmed?

You will receive a confirmation on the app; at the same time a confirmation will be sent to you via text message and email. Different merchants have different preparation times which may be indicated on their page details.

After I tap the Place Order button, what does the error message "Cannot process the request for now." mean?

Have you updated the app to the latest version? If yes, kindly close the app and open. Otherwise, go to the App Store or Google Playstore to update your StreetBy app to its latest version. If these options have not addressed the issue and have already tried placing an order again with the same issue, kindly email support@streetby.com or call (088) 8819869.

I have placed an order but I have not received an email confirmation. What should I do?

Oops, please check the spam folder of your email account. Otherwise, kindly contact the concerned merchant or contact support@streetby.com.

Can I combine orders from different merchants into one transaction?

You can transact with more than one merchant but you cannot combine your orders. Payment for transactions is paid separately per merchant.

What are your payment methods?

StreetBy allows Merchant to offer payment methods using your credit/debit card or cash. Please check the methods accepted by the merchant you are transacting with.

Are there any delivery services for each merchant I transact with? How much are the fees?

Thru StreetBy, you can have your order delivered straight to your doorstep. Currently, Php 50.00 and Php 80.00 are the delivery fees for city proper and outside city proper, repectively. There is no minimum order required for an order to be delivered. Merchants may not allow certain product/s to be delivered. A tag "Ok for Delivery" means a product is allowed by a merchant for delivery. A merchant may also apply for an exclusive delivery service. Merchant has own delivery service. StreetBy will be the platform but actual rider, transportation unit, and fees are under Merchant's management.

Is there a minimum amount for every order placed?

It would depend on the merchant. Different merchants have different requirements and specifications with regards to their offered products and services.

What are StreetBy points? How can I get points?

For every paid transaction, you will earn 1 point for every Php 1 value. To use points as payment, every 200 points is equivalent to Php 1.00. All you need to do is to tap away, transact, and get points for every fulfilled transaction. You can use your points as payment for transactions made on StreetBy. However, you could not use points as payment for the delivery fee.

What currencies does StreetBy accept?

Currently, StreetBy only accepts Philippine Peso currency. We will surely consider other currencies as we expand.

Is there a service fee for the Provider Solution?

A StreetBy service/processing fee will only be charged per sales transaction made via the app. The mobile application is free for both users and merchants in terms of listing, browsing, and user- merchant engagement.

Using the points I earned, will my paid transaction also be eligible to avail points?

You could only earn points based on what you have paid, if you have not paid because you used your points as payment, consequently you will not earn any points from that transaction. But hey, you already booked something for free!

How secure are my personal information and payment details?

It is the duty of StreetBy to ensure security measures as protection of account information and online transactions. StreetBy's security infrastructure combines various hardware and software devices, policies and procedures to make both the user and merchant confident that privacy, authentication, integrity, and non-repudiation issues are addressed. Of course, we trust you on being responsible also with regards to securing your device and login passwords and payment details.

Should I pay for downloading StreetBy?

StreetBy is free! It is our mission to provide you an awesome user experience. Be a happy tapper!

Does StreetBy offer coupon vouchers?

Yes, StreetBy will do so soon. We'll update you once we start integrating coupons.

Does the app need an Internet connection?

One of StreetBy's goals is bringing to you access and convenience. Internet connection is required for an enhanced user experience.

Is there a processing fee for every transaction I make?

For cash transactions, you only pay for the price you ordered. There might be transactions in which you may pay additional fees not reflected on the app - these may be in the form of container boxes, candles, etc. StreetBy is currently using the payment gateway of Paypal. For credit and debit card transactions, Paypal will be charging a convenience fee of 4.4% plus Php 15.00 for every transaction.

What are your sign-up options?

You can sign-up via Facebook or Register thru email.

Should users pay for downloading StreetBy?

StreetBy is absolutely free for download.

Aside from the StreetBy service fee, are there other fees we should be aware of?

Currently, StreetBy is using Paypal, the most secured payment gateway. There is a payment gateway fee of 4.4% plus Php15.0 fixed fee charged by Paypal. These fees are extended to the consumers for transacting using credit/debit card transactions. StreetBy is currently working on adding other payment gateway options.

Do we need to submit business requirements to access the provider solution?

You can add your business page right away. Agree with our service agreement and wait for our team to verify your business within 3 days. Since StreetBy honors its assurance of credibility, it will accordingly require legal business requirements from each provider. StreetBy will provide adequate time to furnish said requirements.

What type of products and services will I be able to offer for sale?

You are allowed to sell anything as long as it’s within the legal nature of your business and within the bounds of Philippine law.

Are we allowed to list on the app rates above our standard rates?

As per service agreement, merchants are not allowed to list prices/rates above their standard or display rates. (e.g. price tags, menu price, price lists, advertisements, publicity brochures, website, and social media pages among others).

What are the payment methods available for the users?

You can offer payment methods through Credit/ Debit Card and Cash. It will depend on your page settings which methods you will allow.

What are your cancellation and refund policies?

When an order is placed and awaiting confirmation, user has the option to cancel their order by tapping the Cancel Order button. The Merchant as well can cancel the order. In the case that an order is requested to be cancelled but was already confirmed by the Merchant, User can request from StreetBy that order be cancelled. StreetBy will then contact the Merchant and negotiate any charges or inconvenience that may arise. In the case that an order has already been paid and User requests for a refund for a legit reason that order is misrepresented or damaged, StreetBy will first investigate and verify the case with Merchant. Charges arising from the case will be paid accordingly to whom they are due.

How will the proceeds of the credit card transactions be credited?

Every week, we will be processing your transactions covering transactions of the previous week. Your gross credit card sales less the StreetBy transactional fee will be credited weekly.

When will I be billed for the service fees/charges?

Once you, as provider, are registered, a billing statement will be emailed and sent out to you. Basically, only cash transactions will be billed for the transactional fee since fees for credit card transactions were already charged upon the weekly gateway crediting. StreetBy User credits - Discounts, Promos, Wallet - are remitted back to you in the form of a deduction from your StreetBy transactional fees so long as they have not been already remitted back prior to the monthly statement.

I understand there are discounts to be shouldered by StreetBy and offered to users. How will I claim back the balance of the original sale transaction?

Upon billing, a detailed statement of account will indicate your credit and cash sales as well as the amount credited back for discounted transactions.

Do you have an office? I would like to inquire concerns regarding the Provider Solution.

How do I enable Delivery?

You have to enable Delivery for both your page and product. Tap Edit Page > Setup Store > General Preference > Enable delivery feature. Once page is enabled, setup the product/s you intend to be allowed for delivery. Tap Product > Product Settings > Product Type Options - 'Food & Drink' or 'Product' > Enable delivery feature.

I received a confirmation of my order via sms and email, what do I do next?

Did you place your order and selected cash as payment? Go ahead and pay the merchant on-premise for your booking. If for delivery, pay the delivery service once you receive your order. Kindly remind merchant to accept your payment via the app to complete your order and status will be updated to "Paid". Did you place order and selected credit card or PayPal as payment? Open the app, tap basket, view your order, and tap the Pay Order button to be redirected to the gateway page for credit card or PayPal payment details. Once completed, your order status should be updated to "Paid". PayPal gateway does not require you to have a PayPal account. You can directly input your credit/ debit card details to push thru the payment gateway process. PayPal accepts all major credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PayPal: If you find your credit card is not being accepted, it might be due to one of the following reasons: Your card is associated with a specific PayPal account, and you're not logging in with that particular account. Your card was associated with a PayPal account that has since been closed. You've linked the card to a PayPal account, but have not yet confirmed it. You've exceeded your card limit with the PayPal system. Your email address is raising a red flag in PayPal's system. Your browser is not accepting cookies. You should clear any existing cookies and try again.
